Hi, my name is Melissa. I am a sophomore in college and I decided to create a blog. There are many things that will be happening this year. I received a scholarship that will allow me to study abroad my junior year in Europe and China. I will probably never know who, if anyone, is reading my blog, but I wanted to create a space where I can hold myself accountable and just word vomit my life and experiences in these posts. This first post is to tell you a bit about myself. I am an unimportant person. I am the kind of person you would pass on the street and not notice. Hobby wise I have an assortment, but nothing I feel that I am truly passionate about. I like to read, listen to music, watch tv, and draw. One thing I really love is Chinese and Korean dramas. Currently I watching these ongoing shows: Tunnel, My secret Romance, Whisper, the Liar and his lover, Saimdang's Light Diary, First Love Again, and Surgeons. I absolutely adore Running Man and I love watching Knowing Brother every now and then. Other than that I am a background dancer. One who no one remembers after the show it over.
I am slightly hesitant to put my photo on here, but I did say I would hold myself accountable. I have always been "large" or chubby. When I was in high school I was very active. I did sports, but when I came to college I gained the whole freshman 15 and then some. Today I am flirting with 200 and I have decided to change myself. I want to become healthy and I want to love my body. here is the first post of my journey and the first embarassing picture I am putting out there. This might be my hardest post because it's the first. But hopefully this will be a progression for the better.
